Reefership Marine Services, Ltd is the exclusive maritime transportation provider for Dole Fresh Fruit Co., and Dole Ocean Cargo Express, the commercial cargo subsidiary of Dole.
Although incorporated in 1999 as Reefership Marine Services Ltd, the technical management staff of RMS have been responsible for Dole’s fleet since 1986. Dole’s fleet of vessels consist of conventional refrigerated pallet and refrigerated container vessels, the largest such dedicated refrigerated containerized fleet in the world.
Operating out of offices in San José, Costa Rica, not coincidentally a country that is one of Dole’s biggest sources of fresh produce, Reefership Marine Services, Ltd’s team of shore-based international professionals is ably supported by dedicated and career oriented seafaring staff from India, Poland, Croatia, Ukraine, Ecuador, Philippines, and other diverse regions of the world.
